Battersea Power Station
The Battersea Power Station was first built in 1939 in London and it stopped operations in 1983. You would probably think why it looks so vaguely familiar. One reason could be, you have probably seen this on Pink Floyd’s 1977 album cover, “Animals“. (Well..thats where i saw it first at least). And it also appears in The Beatles 1965 movie “Help!” (i didn’t see this..so i won’t know. But i do like that song).
Battersea power station is apparently being developed into a commercial building now. With housing and shopping centres proposed. Sounds very familiar don’t you think. sheesh.
