Brainfeeder Festival
Attended the Brainfeeder festival on saturday…pretty killer gig. The gig was located at an abandoned bus station…so it has this underground warehouse vibes. My type of venue!
When i got there, The Gaslamp Killer was already playing. I think i missed out on Danny breaks set (darn!).
After that was Kode 9…who obviously smashed up the place! First rewind by him….what else….Poison dart!
Feels great to see hundreds of people going mad to dubstep! (Duh..this is London after all innit! I got this in the video clip below)
After Kode 9, was a MC…(sorry i didnt catch your name). Nice soulful vibes…a few songs…and the mighty Flying Lotus took over! Smashed the place up as well…with a live set consisting of many cross genres.
Kinda reminds me of a cross between Burial, DJ Shadow and the likes, if you know what i mean.
After Flying Lotus…Mala from Digital Mystikz took over with some proper extreme dubby-to-the-max dubstep.
