Load #1
Checked out this warehouse party called Load #1 on friday night. Pretty obscure location i must say. In the middle of Commercial road, no pubs / clubs in the area. No posters to say where the party was, it was already a feat getting there. Of course eventually we managed to find it.

We kinda lost our way looking for the place. So one thing i have to keep in mind.
1. Always remember to take down the address of the venue! Do not assume!
Anyways, the venue was located on the 3rd floor of some warehouse type of building.
You had to go through this dodgy looking and dark staircase, pretty grimey i must say.
As this is London, i would expect the sound system to be top notch. And of course, they didn’t disappoint on that part. Massive bass bins on both sides, giving you the signature dubstep bass-in-your-chest thump!
MRK1 dropped some pretty sick tunes followed by the guys from Senseless Records, Sarantis B2b Sasquatch feat MC Dialect.
Halfway through their set, apparently police came so they had to turn down the volume. Which obviously suck, i mean, of course it isn’t their fault. Oh well, shit happens. So anyway, after they came back on, it was about 2:30am already. Not long after, Ital-Tek took over. Only to encounter the same “vol too loud” issue.
Overall, good inaugural party for Load. I always love such underground venues and also good soundsystem. But do please sort out the police issues. Looking forward to the next one
