Across the universe
Yesterday, i did the most London thing ever. Sitting in the middle of Hoxton Square, eating drinking and just chilling!

On to my main topic…..the number 1 question i get, whenever someone gets to know i have moved to London.
“Why London?!”
1. Most of you should know that I’m very into music. The music I’m into, all happens to come from this part of the world. Drum n bass, dubstep, grime, UK Hiphop, Indie bands like Radiohead, Muse…you name it…i love them all. I was into all of it before i even came here for a holiday.
2. The age limit for the working holiday maker visa is 31 for Singaporeans. I’ve basically reached the age limit. So its a ‘Now or Never’ situation. I don’t want to regret 10 years down the road, for not doing this. In fact, the UK immigration is changing the system very soon, so don’t say i never remind you guys out there!
3. I’ve had many friends who has done this working holiday thing. So it something i know about for a long time now, which i have contemplated doing when i was in my early / mid-twenties even.
4. London is the city of the world. Just like New York. Every other country wants their own London / NY. Singapore…don’t need to say….our government is trying so hard to copy both this 2 cities. Of course they have done some things much better as well, which you gotta give them credit for. But in terms of culture, music and arts…London is THE place to be.
5.
So yeah, i hope i had answered some of your questions for those wondering why i moved here.
…shall leave you with a song today…
(btw..this ain’t the official video in case u were wondering!)
