Dover
I decided i needed to get out of London, one fine day, last week. To take a nice walk, out in the open with no cares in the world.

So i bought a train ticket, packed my bag and left Dover, Kent for the very next day. Booked a bed n breakfast immediately for one night and just left. (Maybe i will try going to a place without accommodation next time to make things a little more challenging)
Stayed at this place called St. Martin / Ardmore guesthouse, which is located right below Dover Castle.
Good for those who wanna stay over night, and visit the Castle in the morning (which is what i did and it happened so the day i arrived there was bad weather).

To be honest, Dover was a little too quiet for me. On the first day, after i went up the White Cliffs (FREE) and came back down for dinner…the place was a ghost town! Every shop was closed with the exception of one fish & chips store where i had dinner at. At that very minute, i wanted to take a train back to London..haha..obviously not since i already paid (£35) for the B&B.

The next day, woke up early morning to check out and go to Dover Castle. Luckily the weather was very much better than the day before. There was a little sunshine coming through the clouds. Entry to Dover Castle is £10.30 for an adult, £5.20 for children.

Shall leave you with a quote:
Jack Kerouac - “Lonesome traveler“
No man should go through life without once experiencing healthy, even bored solitude in the wilderness, finding himself depending solely on himself and thereby learning his true and hidden strength.
